ambivalent comment

Yikes! I hope they're just playing tough facade here and you'll still get aid. If you're talking federal aid, I can't imagine that it's too late. Sure there's a “priority deadline,” but that's just for show. If it's aid from the school, well, like I said, I hope they're just being typical “I work in a bureaucracy and I'm miserable so if I can make someone else miserable, too, that makes me happier.” If that's what they're doing, it sucks, but it's just a game and you'll win (get aid) in the end. Fingers crossed for you....
