Amen! I wrote a 35-page note in support of a free legal research system supported by the federal gov't and my journal editors laughed at me. The legal profession is one where the status quo is often maintained even when there is no longer any rational reason for it. Makes me want to run screaming from this “profession,” but, well, we can still work for incremental change, I guess...
