ambivalent comment

Well, I dunno. If the blogger posted it, he/she must expect people to read it, and he/she must know that people often like to talk about things they read, right? If it's online, it's fair game for links and comments, isn't it? Sure, you might not want to be too mean or snarky if this person is a friend, but still, linking and commenting should be fine.
