Ambivalent Images Turns One
The daily snapshot site, ambivalent images, started a year ago today with a photo of a red beetle. 365 photos later, it's still going strong. Although it's never received a great deal of traffic, I still enjoy taking and posting photos. I hope you've enjoyed a few of them, as well. When I started the project, I had no idea whether I'd be able to continue it for even a few months, let alone a year, but it has been so fun and so much less work than I anticipated that it almost seems to run itself now. A selection of favorite shots—one from each month of the last year:- RDB Chewbacca

Your dog looks like a wonderful pup. I bet she'd love Red Wiggly.
Let me know if you ever make a road trip out to the west coast!

I LOVE your photos. So many of them are taken places that I frequent. I often look around for some random guy with a camera so I can run up and yell "AMBIVALENT???"

Ha. I'm glad you like the photos, but if you ever ran up to me and yelled "ambivalent?" I would probably not have a clue what you're talking about. Ok, maybe I would. The divide between this online existence and "reality" still seems large at times. But we'll have a drink one of these days (perhaps this summer) and then maybe *you* will be the star of ambivalent images for a day....

Oh, and transmogriflaw: I would *love* to take Sisu (my dog) the west coast! She would just love the ocean, and I'm sure she and Red Wiggly would be fast friends. I doubt I'll be headed that way any time soon, but let me know you come this way....
