Half-Cocked: Nader
http://blawgcoop.com/half-cocked/archives/2005/11/nader.html Ouch. But I agree -- Nader's trashing his legacy. He should just retire and make inspiring speeches to future radical lawyers.Posted by mowabb at 01:15 PM
The Unreasonable Man: Umm, What?
http://theunreasonableman.blogspot.com/2005/11/umm-what.html#comments Ha! You've found a silver lining to being totally in debt -- you can bet all you've got w/out fear of losing b/c you have nothing! Yay for negative personal wealth! You're very measured in your criticism here. I prefer to just reduce it to its simple core: Bush is a liar.Posted by mowabb at 07:09 AM

Blonde Justice: A Day In The Life
http://blondejustice.blogspot.com/2005/11/day-in-life.html#comments Seriously, thank a veteran. No kidding. Sounds like a great day. And here I thought being a public defender was work. Sounds like all play to me. Except for that “wrote some motions, wrote some letters, found a witness” part. Writing a motion still takes me hours and finding witnesses has begun to seem impossible. But what do I know? I look forward to the day when this just sort of fits into my life w/out a lot of muss or fuss...Posted by mowabb at 09:04 PM

Campaign Ad Parody
http://www.prettytypewriters.com/bloggy/index.php?p=160 I don’t understand your Mac woes. Are you saying that sometimes you press the go button and nothing happens? Or are you saying that it tries to boot up and hits some kind of problem? And if so, what problem? It’s so sad to hear of macs misbehaving. It hurts me deep down, you know? ;-) More important, no mac for you means no bloggy, and we no likey that. Thought: The next time you’re able to log in to your blog, why not go to your account preferences and change your password? Would that be possible, or do you need to know your old password to do that? Another idea: The next time you can log in, export your blog and save it to your computer. Then create a new WordPress blog w/a new account and login and write down your password! Then upload the exported entries from this blog into the new blog, delete this blog, and move the new blog into this blog’s location on your server. Bam! You can now login from anywhere, your dumb mac be damned! Do you think that would work?Posted by mowabb at 10:50 PM
Greyhame: Law and Law School: Old Law Books
http://greyhame.org/archives/2005/10/old_law_books.html Amen! I wrote a 35-page note in support of a free legal research system supported by the federal gov't and my journal editors laughed at me. The legal profession is one where the status quo is often maintained even when there is no longer any rational reason for it. Makes me want to run screaming from this “profession,” but, well, we can still work for incremental change, I guess...Posted by mowabb at 10:47 PM
