Woman selling anti-Bush buttons. She was covered in buttons and I heard her say as I passed by, "That's how much I hate George Bush!" DNC organizers are all over this city (young, college-age people w/DNC t-shirts and clipboards, trying to sign people up and get donations), but I haven't seen a single RNC/Bush organizer. That's what happens when you live in a city that goes 60-80% for the Democrats, I guess. And that's nice, except that it makes voting in D.C. just about worthless. Oh wait, that's how it is in all but about a dozen states. Hooray for Democracy and winner take all politics!
