Can Courts Trust Forensic Science?
Not surprisingly, the answer is: Yes and No. To hear a discussion of the current state of forensic science, check out today's edition of Science Friday. It doesn't look like that show is online as of this writing, but you can subscribe to the podcast and get it automatically once they put it online.

I was thinking the same thing the other night about DNA evidence while watching a Discovery show about chimerae. Since not many people have DNA tests done there's no telling how many of us have two sets of DNA in us. If I was a desperate defense lawyer I'd definitely at least try it.
