Bite Me, Lexis!

Dude, I have a trial in the morning and this is what Lexis is telling me every time I try to pull up a case:

Lexis is the devil's tool.

Sweet.

I hate that. You know, overall I like Lexis better because it seems easier to navigate and find the info I want BUT it is a million times slower and way more unstable than westlaw. Grrr. I have sympathy.

Actually, I prefer Lexis to Westlaw b/c generally I find Lexis much faster and *more* stable than Westlaw. Westlaw's obsession w/frames drives me nuts and it doesn't seem to play nearly as well w/tabbed windows and having dozens of cases and pages of search results open at one time.

Perhaps the difference here is that I'm using a Mac and Lexis just plays nicer (generally) with Mac browsers? I dunno. I do know that I really am afraid of what my life in the law is going to be like once I don't have free, unlimited access to these services. That's *really* going to suck.
