An industrial plant sends a steady stream of steam or smoke into the winter air, somewhere in Ohio. I took this photo last week on our drive returning to D.C. from Michigan. This is the final “vacation” photo for now because school starts again today. (Oh, thanks to my sister for the cool new shoes you see on my feet in the thumbnail at right -- everyone loves them and they're very comfy and handy to slip on and off for traveling and walking the dog.
