A picture of the National Gallery of Art taken from "the Mall" where the Book Festival was held. I just liked this shot because of the coniferous trees in front of the Gallery. D.C. doesn't have many conifers, and these in particular were either spruce or cedar (I'm bad at tree ID) and reminded me of someplace like the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Random? Sure, but that's the way the mind works sometimes, isn't it?

That's it. Just a handful of pictures. We didn't stay more than a couple of hours at the festival, but it was still great to go. Highly recommended if you're ever around D.C. when it's held.
